Doing anything special for Sunday Funday?
I mean, other than entering this awesome giveaway for some sweet gear from Core Kitchen, of course.
I just LOVE doing giveaways because you all are the best readers ever! This site wouldn’t be here without all of you, so I love to be able to give a little something back to you whenever I can 🙂
Core Kitchen was generous enough to send me a few of their products to pick some out to giveaway to one of you lucky readers. I love, love, loved everything they sent so it was super hard for me to pick which ones to use for the giveaway.
Alright, without further adieu, let’s get started.
Large Glass Prep Board
How gorgeous is this?? It looks like a piece of artwork sitting on my kitchen counter. It just makes me happy to do all my mise en place prep work. It also doubles as a beautiful serving piece for bread, cheese, or any type of little hors d’ouevres.
It has handy little rubber feet to keep it from sliding around, and because it’s glass it won’t ever get weird stains on it. Brilliant!
Woven Rectangle Cast Iron Trivet
I’m a sucker for anything cast iron. I’m also a sucker for anything in this beautiful green color! I keep this next to my stove so I can keep hot pots and pans from damaging my counters. You can never have enough of these things come Thanksgiving!
I love that the handy little hook on the top allows me to hang it on my wall when I’m not using it. Instant kitchen art!
Alright, last but not least…
Geometric Utensil Holder
Yep, also in that beautiful lime green color. It just adds a fresh pop of color to your kitchen! I love the design of this utensil crock, it’s so fun and modern.

My favorite way to bring life and color to my kitchen is by cooking with fragrant spices and vibrant produce.
I bring life and color to my kitchen with pots of fresh herbs and rotate small blooming roses in.
I love having colorful bowls as decor/functional pieces!
Those are some gorgeous pieces. My favorite way to bring life and color to my kitchen is when making a dish with lots of veggies. I like to chop them all and then arrange them on my cutting board…maybe that’s why it always takes me longer to prep dinner than a recipe says it will!
I get different colored kitchen gadgets and accessories so they contrast each other instead of being uniform. I have ceramic trinkets like chickens and owls on the shelves, too.
Love the blog!! Thank you for the chance to win in this giveaway!! <3
Fresh flowers always brighten up my kitchen, try to buy them weekly.
life and love….easy, I have my family in the kitchen. I love to cook with the kiddos. Hubby watches from the bar stool while we all talk, laugh and enjoy being together.
For me, it is colorful pots and pans that give my kitchen some pop!
We have a beautiful tagine on display, plus I love colorful kitchen tools and cutting boards.
Those are so pretty! I like to change out my curtains for pops of seasonal color, and different things to hang on the wall. I also have a space or flowers in the summer.
I use fresh produce to brighten up my kitchen.
I like to have a seasonally inspired soft boundary between kitchen and garden which, as well as cooking and eating outside, means bringing the garden inside e.g. at present autumn leaves and rowan tree berries.
I try to have everything in my kitchen a different color 🙂
I love fresh flowers
i love to have lots of color in my kitchen from colorful towels, utensils, containers, mason chalkboard soap dispensers, and colorful cookbooks.
I love to find cheap, inexpensive items to add color to the kitchen. Thanks for the chance to enter.
I like to keep a bowl of lemons and limes out and just today I put a bunch of different sized pumpkins and gourds on my kitchen windowsill.
In my mostly brown/wood kitchen, I keep a bright red tea kettle and Dutch oven pot in the stove to add that pop of color. I also use red kitchen towels. I also love having a basket of lemons on the counter.
With fresh, seasonal, color-rich, textured, flavor-bursting food, of course.
Love the trvit!! I add a pop of color to my kitchen by adding all the wonderful hand painted pictures my kids paint 🙂 that and the fresh herbs like basil and mint are always nice to have in a tiny vase
I just painted my kitchen a Southwest yellow and I really like it.
I try to use different fun colored hand towels, and some of my dishes and cups are fun colors! I love to keep it seasonal, with different colored fruits and veggies and decorations too.
I like to have unique and colorful kitchen cooking and baking utensils in my kitchen!
I love to put fresh flowers in my kitchen!
The only color in my kitchen is a bowl of orange glass globes. It has no real function so I love the fact that all of these are functional as well as beautiful.
I love to accessorize with colors in the kitchen – that way I can change the look of my kitchen without much expense!
I like to use colorful knives and utensils
Fresh fruit and veg bring nice color to the kitchen!
I have a small kitchen (retired in an “over 55” mobile home park in central FL), so primarily use COLOR to brighten it up and make it distinctly “mine”. That particular green you feature is a favorite. Also a traditional red-red; some yellow — not canary, not lemon, more of an intense yellow-orange; and the neutral beige/tan/ivolry that dominates my kitchen (counters, cabinets, etc.) is greatly enhanced by all of these brights. My “mobile” (not really, but that’s what they’re called still — although they haven’t moved an inch since they were plopped down on the sites here some 35 years ago!) isn’t new (obviously) by any means, but it’s not junky (yet), either. And it’s paid for! — so it works for me and my Social Security life “style” in several ways. All of which is to say I like doing whatever small things can make it more attractive without getting “cutesy” (not my style) or chintzy, and bits of saturated color here and there help enormously to accomplish that. Kitchen towels, potholders, even my garbage bowl contribute to the look I want, plus other small odds and ends in these green-red-yellow shades — all add so much life and individuality — amazing what almost no investment can do! I have zero wall space in my little kitchen — seriously ZERO — so paint isn’t an option. BUT I have decoupaged some carefully selected Cooks Illustrated magazine back covers (you know the ones I mean — they really are gorgeous) featuring produce in the appropriate colors onto my otherwise really ugly fake “blonde” kitchen cabinets, and they are seriously perfect for the space!
I’m quite new to your blog, but loving it and your chat and very unique but simple recipes and lovely photography — so glad I found you, and thanks so much for all you do!
–Norma
I love to have colorful bowls and fruit set around on my counter to bring in color!
I love bringing pops in color through food, flowers, and fun kitchen containers.
I love using different color veggies – beets, sweet potatoes, peppers! I love colorful produce!!
Ah, the prep board is so lovely! I like to use fresh flowers to liven up my kitchen. 🙂
A bowl of fresh fruit was the first thing that popped into my head, but I see that is what everyone thinks of 🙂 The other thing I always like is bringing in some fresh cut flowers or branches from my yard
I love my kitchen. Everything almost is red and white. I added a few different colors here and there, but predominately red and white.
I love colored glass. It’s the theme of my kitchen, from collectable blue milk of magnesia bottles to glass tiles. I love it.
I love using different colors to liven up my kitchen; plants, herbs, lemons/limes and colorful work bowls.
I have colorful vases on a shelf in my kitchen.
Love the glass cutting board in particular! Favorite way to bring life to the kitchen is to have my husband cook and invite our neighbor over because he always makes too much! So much fun to share. And for color I have a sweet little window over my sink and love to put fresh flowers or greenery in glass vases– something for the seasons.
love using different colors by having a variety of different vegetables and fruits!
I like to switch out my towels in fun colors!
Thanks for doing these giveaways! I, too, have a green kitchen. 🙂 Most of my color is done with pottery to hold fruit, utensils and just to display. There is also some color splashes in my framed coffee art!
What a fun giveaway! I have been following you for a bit but never commented. I used to have a food blog a long time ago (before kiddos) and love seeing great ones out there! Anyway, I came by today for the spaetzle recipe…last day of Oktoberfest and all 🙂
I have been known to add color to my kitchen by taping children’s artwork on the cabinets. Cheers things right up!

Aside from kitchen supplies, I love having colorful pots with basil, peppermint, and green onions in the kitchen! They smell wonderful & keep it looking fresh!
Hi 🙂
Those look fantastic and would be a great addition to my green kitchen 🙂 I love adding colour to my kitchen mainly with fresh produce. A pretty colourful glass bowl filled with glowing yellow lemons goes a long way in a small kitchen.
Thanks for the giveaway,
Annie
