Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add the hibiscus flowers, and turn off the heat. Let steep for 30 minutes, then strain out the flowers. Stir in the honey until dissolved. Chill.
Serve over ice with a fresh squeeze of lime juice.
Notes
To store Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus Tea), keep it in an airtight container or a pitcher covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for up to 5 days.To freeze, place the tea in ice cube trays for up to 2 months.
