Notes
To store Umm Ali leftovers, place them in the fridge, covered, for up to 3 days. Its texture is best when fresh, but it holds up well. Freezing is not recommended, as it can alter the pastry's texture. To reheat, cover with foil and warm in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for about 10 minutes, or until heated through. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the pastry soggy.
