Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8.5 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Peel your bananas and add them to a large mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the bananas until they are almost liquified. Some lumps are okay.
Next, add the eggs and whisk into the mashed bananas.
Then, add the brown sugar and self-rising flour and mix until combined.
Pour the mixture into your prepared loaf pan.
Optional Step: Place softened butter in a zip top bag and cut the corner. Add a thin line of softened butter down the middle of the batter to create a perfect crack on the top when baking.
Bake in the oven for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the loaf to cool then serve and enjoy!
