Amp up your side dishes with this Turmeric Rice recipe. Made with pantry staples, it transforms ordinary rice into a fluffy and fragrant dish that everyone will love.
Next, add in the onion and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the turmeric powder and stir to combine.
Next, add in the rice and mix until the grains are coated and lightly toasted.
Add the chicken stock, salt and pepper. Mix and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, cover the rice then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes. Then fluff with a fork.
Finally serve and enjoy!

You can store this yellow rice in an airtight container in your fridge for 3-4 days. For longer storage you can freeze this rice in your freezer for up to 3 months.To reheat you can do so on the stovetop or in the microwave with a splash of water or broth until everything has warmed through.
