This Vampire's Kiss Cocktail is fruity, bubbly, and just spooky enough for Halloween! Vodka, cranberry juice cocktail, raspberry liqueur, simple syrup, and sparkling wine create a sweet and tart blood-red cocktail finished with a dramatic black sugar rim.

Instructions
Pour black sanding sugar onto a small plate. Lightly moisten the rim of a rocks, martini or coupe glass with water, then dip the rim into the black sugar until evenly coated.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, cranberry juice cocktail, simple syrup, and raspberry liqueur. Cover and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds, or until thoroughly chilled.
Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass. Slowly top with 1 to 2 ounces of chilled Champagne or sparkling wine, depending on how bubbly you prefer your cocktail.
Thread fresh cherries, raspberries, cranberries, or a combination onto a Halloween-themed cocktail pick. Place it across the glass and serve immediately.
Notes
A finished Vampire's Kiss Cocktail is best served immediately because the sparkling wine will gradually lose its bubbles. The vodka, cranberry juice, raspberry liqueur, and simple syrup can be mixed together and stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 to 2 days. Shake the mixture with ice and add the sparkling wine and garnishes just before serving.
