Why You’ll Love These Oreo Brownies
- Melted butter, two sugars, eggs, flour, and cocoa create a fuller homemade chocolate flavor than a boxed shortcut.
- Half of the chopped cookies are folded into the batter and the rest bake on the surface, distributing cookie pieces through every layer.
- Cocoa powder flavors the brownie crumb while semi-sweet chocolate chunks create richer melted pockets throughout the Oreo-filled batter.
- Brown and granulated sugar work together because brown sugar supports moisture and chew, while granulated sugar helps form the familiar brownie top.
- A large batch is ready in about 35 minutes because the 9-by-13-inch pan yields approximately 24 brownies for parties, lunchboxes, or sharing.
Recipe Ingredients

Oreo Cookies – Used both in the batter and on top of the brownies to ensure Oreo overload!
Cocoa Powder – Cocoa powder gives brownies their classic chocolate taste!

SO GOOD! I also love that these brownies are in a 13×9 pan. Every other recipe was a square pan and my big family loves brownies. Definitely a winner!
