Sour apple martinis, or Appletinis as they are also known, are one of the most common fruit martinis you will find at a bar. One thing you may not know about this apple martini is that it’s original name was the Adam’s Apple Martini, named after the bartender who created it back in 1996.
The most distinctive characteristic of an Appletini is that bright green coloring. You can tell from a mile away when someone orders one, which is likely why they have become so popular. I cannot tell you how many times I see an eye-catching drink at a bar and tell the bartender “I want one of those.”
One of the best things about this cocktail is that you only need 3 ingredients to make the perfect Sour Apple Martini! This beverage consists of vodka, apple juice, and sour apple schnapps. These three ingredients combined really bring out that fresh and bright apple flavor.
